Study of the OIT: children are coming into traffic early

A study friday for the International Oganização of Trabalho (OIT) sampled that adolescent are going early to work in the drug traffic, in 21 slum quarters of the Rio de Janeiro. The average of age for the ingression in the crime dropped of 15/16 years, in the beginning of the decade of 1990, for 12/13 years, recently, as the research.
Motivation - Children and adolescents who work for dealers have in average just four years of study. The majority of the families belongs to the poorest layer of the community, with monthly income of up to two minimum wages. The motivation for ingression in the traffic depends on the age. For the adolescents with less than 13 years, it is distinguished necessity of being accepted for the group, followed by "adrenalin" - emotion - and money. Teens above 14 years search, in first place, money, later the " adrenalin " and, finally, identity with the group.
The study sample still that these children generally die before completing one year in this activity.
Consumption - To support pressure, 90% of them consume marijuana. In the traffic, them they work of guard, packer, salesman, security, supplier and until as controlling.
