Mangueira brazilian community inaugurates new Educational Center |
The
multinational company Unilever, owner among others of the Gessy
brand, donated to the Mangueira community its old building of Kibon
ice cream plant, situated close to the Mangueira quarter, in the
north zone or Rio. With 24 thousand square meters of constructed
area, this space will be transformed into a great Educational Center
that must be functioning from March. The proposal is to take care
of, in four years, about one hundred a thousand pupils with computer
science courses, hotelaria, recepcionist, telemarketing, tourism,
theater, on activities to the Carnival and nursing, beyond sports
and job day-care center, also opened to the community. |
