After seven games and seven winnings, Brazil got the 2002 Football World Cup. It´s the fifth time that Brazil gets this. The great star of this Cup was Ronaldo, the "Phenomenon", like he is called by newspapers on Italy, whereas he plays actually. Ronaldo made the two goals on brazilian winning, and it has a very special taste for him: a year ago, a lesion made him considered ended for soccer.

Ronaldinho story is the story of a poor kid, that was born on Bento Ribeiro, a pheripherical community in Rio. Like many boys, he learned to play soccer on the streets, playing with the other kids. It was a long road until this breakaway performance: Ronaldo now is like Pelé, that got 12 goals on World Cups, and is now one of the best goalmaker on World Cups since 1950, under records of the german player Gerd Muller and of the french player Fontaine.

The brazilian team was coached by Felipe Scolari. The team had a lot of difficulties to get the place for this World Cup and left Brazil under a lot of critics. Now they are doing the party in all places in Brazil, after a lot of early-mornings asleep, nor one game lost and 18 goals.

This final game, played on Yokohama, was the first between german and brazilians on World Cup history. It was a great game. For us, in Brazil, this victory was important because showed three things: the power of strong desire and discipline, on Ronaldo lesion recoverage story; the fact that it was possible to build a group, working together until the victory;

and that there is a kind of beauty that remains on brazilian football art, like we could see on second goal. Kleberson made the kick, Rivaldo just got a lance called "light cut", and opened the legs to leave the ball surprinsingly go until Ronaldo that made the goal. Braziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiil!!!
