Isis de Lima is a 15 year old teenager that will represent Brazilian youngers in the world-wide conference on Rio+ 10.

She was born in São Paulo city. Isis de Lima will have on her luggage, a letter written for youngers from Amazon region, students and activists of São Paulo. "I hope that this meeting will serve to debate what was and what was not made in favor of environment on last the ten years."

Isis counts that main the proposal of the letter is to make governors perceive necessity to invest in ambiental education. "If we need to decide the ambient problems, it must start in the schools", says Isis.

She has another message: "If you are interested in change the things that you does not agree. have imagination, and join yourself in a group. Do something!"

The worldwide Conference "Rio+10" congregates countries of whole world to try again to reduce damages to the environment. Brazil will be there and will leads over its representatives a young girl of only 15 years: Isis Soares.

Do you know where is Johanesburgo? It is a city on South Africa. It is there that will happen between August 26 and September 04 a meeting called "Rio+10".


"Don´t let big business rule"...

Imagine this situation: you congregated with colleagues to argue a school work. Some time later, all of you meet again to see if each one of the group made its home lesson. It something like this that will occur on this meeting. Only that will be there some presidents of a lot of countries. The subject on Rio+10 is important: the future of the Earth.

Rio+10 is a continuing of Eco 92, other great meeting that happened on 1992, on Rio de Janeiro city, in Brazil, where some countries had compromised itselves to take some attitudes to improve the environment. On this meeting 179 countries signed a document, called Agenda 21, that brings some rules and recommendations for each country apply in its environment protection.

After all, planet environment is still under attack.
