Run, jump, play soccer. For some children, as for that poor ones in Brazil, these are more than plays: these are ways of find self-stem and a way to change their lives.

This is what the project "School Club" is doing for many children that studies on public schools in Rio de Janeiro. Project was created on 1993 anda actually has 12 centres, which receives children from 7 to 18 years old.

Tereza Cristina da Costa Gurgel, 13 years old is one talent discovered on these clubs. She plays more soccer that a lot of guys! "She plays a lot. We´re trying to find a place which she can train herself" says her teacher, Mozart de Souza. Besides him we find Roberto Correia Ribeiro, 12 years old studies on the 4 th year and likes soccer too. "Here on the school is cool. My teacher, Luiz, always encourage me", he says. But Carlos Magno França da Silva, 13 years old, has another interest. He prefers to run and is one of the best on 1.500 m. He is on the 6 th year and is very fast!

Besides all these kids, that sometimes has many difficulties at home and simply to go to the school there are some teachers, that encourage them and try to put that specially talented ones to grow up on profissional sport. On these children and teachers, running for future it´s being prepaired a different Brazil.
