that he and his brothers hunted. He just eat rice for the first
time when he was sick, to heal a stomachache
His dreams at
that time were very simple: "When I was a child I dreamed on
being a truckdriver. After I wanted to be fireman too."
When he arrived on Sao Paulo, he begun to work as shoeblack. He
was 12. Later he studied to work as lathe worker. On 1964 he was
blue collar on a metallurgic, where lost a finger on na accident.
At
this time Lula wasn´t interested on politics. Only on 1966
he joined to local syndicate and grew up as a local workers leadership.
Brazil
at this time was under military government and was really dangerous
to make strikes. Lula was arrested once, and his mother died inside
this period.
On 1980 Lula become one of the founders on Labours Party (PT).
And
now, on 27 october, his birthday, Lula become brazilian president.
"Now I wanna be president to make every brazilian have three
meals a day, at a minimum, and to have job, health and good education.
On our govern, schools will be good, and not one children will be
