Brazil has ended processes on elections and left candidate, Lula, was elected. This was a great changing in Brazil. After almost 50 years, a president elected (Fernando Henrique Cardoso) finally passed Brazil presidence to a new president democratically already elected.

First acts of Lula government seems to point that his government will really have a deep focus on social improvement, as were his campaign promises. A symbolical act was the visit that all Lula ministers team are doing to some of poorest villages in Brazil, making direct contact with social problems. It will be a strong defiance, once Lula must be at same time attempt to internal and external pressures related to structural economical crisis that Brazil lives.

Lula´s investiture was a great party on Brazilia, Brazil´s capital. Now, the president is visiting, with all his ministers, areas whereas starving and poverty are deep, with the proposal to connect them to brazilian social reality. Ministry brought some news, as the first black woman to be a Secretary, Benedita da Silva, on Social Assistance and first black minister, Gilberto Gil, a great brazilian musician that become Culture Minister.

As long can be seen now, new government seems that brought hope for brazilian society, bringing themes as social improvement, starving cessation and others to media and - maybe - to more hearts.
